In the absence of the teacher, the substitute teacher provides instruction, encourages student progress and manages the learning environment.

Ability to instruct and communicate (both verbally and in writing) effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Must be fingerprinted after background check is completed

Ability to use the online substitute management system

Salary -

Daily rate: $65 a day non-degreed; $90 a day w/ Bachelor's Degree

Long term(20 consecutive days) $90 a day non-degreed; $110 a day w/Bachelor's Degree
